Why design?

My name is alexia! I am a graphic designer with a crazy love for coffee and music. I do my best to be a jack of all trades when it comes to design, and spend most of my days perfecting my art. I specialize in brand design, social media, print+digital, web, and i am currently learning animation.

Before I ever touched design, I was and am an illustrator. Art has always been how I make sense of the world and how I connect with others. What eventually drew me to graphic design was my desire to create with purpose.

I chose design because I want to help people. I see design as a tool for connection. I don’t just want to make things that look nice, I want to make things that matter and communicate who someone is to their viewers, clients, and/or customers. To help someone find their visual identity and upkeep is a deep passion of mine.
